On
July 9, Silbermann's began the
year-long celebration of its 40th
anniversary making outstanding
ice cream, sundaes, shakes, sodas,
malts, floats, and freezes in
San Rafael and selling its products
throughout the North Bay.

Daniel
Silbermann assumed control of
the business established by his
parents 39 years ago and operated
by his brother, Curtis, since
1989.
On
April 30, Curtis was honored with
a going-away party marking 24 years
in the ice cream business. He has
begun a new career in the hot tub
business.
